Plot Summary
Josh and Emma are neighbors – good friends. It is 1996 and an America Online CD shows up in the mail. They install it and instantly are taken to a Facebook page. But Facebook hasn’t been invented yet. But, there they are in the future and every day their future changes on the pages of Facebook.
Critical Evaluation
Not considered to be as highly rated of either of these author’s best selling books, it gets many positive comments. While it may not be a long term success – many consider it to be a great read with a good premise.

Carolyn Mackler is the author of the teen novels The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things (A Michael L. Printz Honor Book), Tangled, Guyaholic, Vegan Virgin Valentine, and Love and Other Four-Letter Words. In 2008, Carolyn was a judge for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature. Carolyn graduated from Vassar College with a degree in Art HIstory. She lives in New York City with her husband and two young sons.
